The Standards and Certifications Clinic demonstrates the skills required for the D-1 through the C-2 Standards of Proficiency.
The presentation is geared towards instructors who teach Pony Club, leadership, members and parents,
as well as anyone who would like to be considered to be on the Local Level Examiners list.*
What You'll Learn
What’s the difference between a D2 and D3 rider? What is the Basic Balanced Position? What skills
set apart a C2 rider? Answers to these questions and more will be answered as all levels of riding
from D-A will be reviewed. Tips on how to conduct a test will also be included.
How to Prepare
Review the Standards of Proficiency and test sheets (print a copy to take notes on as well.) Those
involved in the testing process should also review the Local Level Examiners Handbook.
